Our Going Beyond Team has an annual tradition of selecting words to sum up the upcoming year. Some words from the past few years included grace, harmony, productivity, and transition. A few of our words from this year were fruition, harvest, identity, growth, wisdom, and . . . lemonade! I’m sure you all have heard the saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!” Ha!
Let’s all mark lemonade as a theme of this year! When tough situations present themselves, let’s be open to making the most of what we’re given, learning from unexpected, disappointing circumstances, and challenging ourselves to rise above defeat and discouragement.
