Whenever I am discouraged about the things that are “lacking” in my life, somehow God brings me back around to Habakkuk 3:17-19. I love these words.
Though the fig tree does not bud, and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.
I am reminded today that He is enough.
Enough for today. Enough for tomorrow.
Enough for my needs.
Praying for you today,
Rachel Anne
How has God been enough for you? Recount the ways in which He has provided for you, undertaken for you, delivered you and helped you. Praise Him “yet” today for being your strength and salvation! He IS enough.
