Such GREAT tips for making the most of the holidays without overspending yesterday! I really got inspired to start making my budget and lists now – and actually get going on it….a whole bunch of you are already well underway and I soooo aspire to that. Baby steps, baby steps….
I love the relational emphasis that came through on so many of your comments. I think we get so wrapped up in the gifting part that we forget just how much those treasures of time and personal attention really mean. We’ve sometimes asked ourselves if we can remember what we got for presents last year….and we are hard-pressed to remember most of them. But the thought-filled, hand-made and creative gifts always bring a smile and a warm remembrance. It’s the good stuff of life, isn’t it? I feel like learning to knit, ya’ll.
