Leave it to me to always find a way to turn our blog discussions back towards my absolute favorite topic of all time.
FOOD!
There’s nothing more tantalizing and delectable to discuss. Wouldn’t you agree? Especially when it’s with you . . . my friends. My friends who seem to enjoy exchanging and swapping delicious ideas (and eating) as much as I do! Food is on my mind today. I guess it’s because Easter is upon us and families will be gathering all over the place to eat incredible dishes in celebration of this holiday. If you’ve missed out on our other conversations about all things delightfully delicious just click here. You won’t want to miss out on all the amazing recipes we’ve shared; some of which are practical, ever night of the week type fare and others that are more fancy and suited for holidays such as this one.
So, as you consider what Sunday’s spread might consist of at your house this year (if you’re brave enough to cook for everyone coming), then what better way to begin your planning than right here. I know there are some sisters who have some wonderful recipes that they can’t wait to share.
I’ll start us off with a simple yet delicious vegetable dish.
Honey Glazed Carrots
Ingredients:
4 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons finely chopped ginger
4 Tablespoons honey
8 Carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 Cup water
Sale and Pepper
Directions:
In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in ginger. Add honey and stir to dissolve. Stir in carrots and toss to coat. Pour in water and cover to steam. Stir occasionally and cook 8 minutes or until tender. Season to taste.
Bring it on sisters! I’m hungry and ready to see what will be on the table at your house. And what’s more, I’m almost certain that some poor sister somewhere is praying that we come up with something good. She’s been worried about Easter all week long and her menu depends on us!

P.S. don’t be surprised if I follow the smell right to your doorstep!
