I don’t know if anyone was more blessed by this past weekend than I was. The Going Beyond event in Ft. Worth, my first of the year, was pulsating with God’s power from the very beginning. Minutes before the event began on Friday night, I walked out from the back to take my seat. When I rounded the corner, I was immediately overwhelmed at the sight of women kneeling at the altar in a time of personal prayer. Chills raced down my spine. I knew then and there that this would be no regular meeting. God was already there – preparing hearts to meet with Him in an exciting and intimate way.
We were not disappointed. We worshiped wildly, listened to God’s Word intently and prayed with passion. I was so honored to serve amongst women that were obviously so ready to experience everything that God wants to give each of them in their walks with God. There was a sweet and holy freedom that only God’s Spirit can give that cascaded down the aisle ways. It’s precisely what we needed, since women from so many different backgrounds and denominations had gathered together in one place. It was refreshing.
We had a packed house!
Thank you for allowing me to serve you. I pray that our time together has marked you for eternity. I know it has me . . . and I wouldn’t have it any other way. You’ve encouraged me to “wake up” and not sleepwalk through any more of the seasons of my life. For me that meant coming home and loving on my one big man and three little ones with all my might. It’s my greatest joy and I don’t want to miss one moment of God’s activity in this season.
Bless you today. Looking forward to staying in touch.
Priscilla
PS . . . Don’t forget, we’ve posted your prayer requests that were texted in. Please pray with me that God will work miracles in the lives of your sisters.
